Serving Met Police officer Charged With Two Counts Of Rape | Evening Standard

A serving Met Police officer has been charged with raping two women while off-duty.

PC Rupert Edwards, attached to the South West Basic Command Unit, was arrested on suspicion of rape on Monday, September 5.

He was bailed and suspended from duty.

On Thursday December 8, he was further arrested on suspicion of rape. On Friday, he was charged with two counts of rape and is due to appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court. Click here to 📲
